The Procession of Little Angels invites the children’s community and their families to participate in the Little Angels Costuming Workshop series, every Sunday afternoon and Wednesday evening between Oct. 4th and Nov. 1st at the Sculpture Resource Center.

Kids are welcome to come down and expand their Little Angels experience into an extended creative process by bringing their families to the workshops and developing a fantasy persona for the event on Saturday, Nov. 7th. The inspiration for this persona could be anything magical, fantastic or otherworldly from out of the realm of the mythic imagination, as opposed to that of pop culture and product. It could also be an animal who was a pet once loved and lost, or even a family member or friend who’s passed on.

We’ll help by providing creative consultation, expert sewing assistance, and materials while they last. This workshop series is intended as a collaboration between MMOS and participating families, who we hope will take this opportunity to work on the project with their children at the SRC and at home and help provide supplementary materials for the costume as needed. Creative scavenging around the house, thrift shopping, etc. is strongly encouraged!
