As most of you know, an OM is a very simple, sacred, unifying sound.
We will be chanting a massive group OM at the line up of the All Souls Procession, an amazing annual Tucson event. Possibly the biggest OM ever in Tucson! Let’s hold the intention of unity and honoring of “All Souls” as we accomplish this awesome Mission.

Magpie Collective creates an opportunity to celebrate our souls living and past in the form of FLIGHT, an interactive sculpture created in collaboration with Flam Chen. Hundreds of handmade paper, moth-shaped kites will be released from an enormous illuminated cocoon in the hands of the Flam Chen during the ASP Grand Finale…

Help us prepare the URN for the 2009 All Souls Procession. We will be constructing the skin of the giant URN and several smaller urns to obtain collect names, wishes, or anything you wish to put in the Giant URN. We invite you to help create our Legacy together!

Learn the skills to create different types of cardboard and paper lanterns! Lanterns can be lit in a number of ways including battery powered string lights, Glow sticks, etc. Participants are asked to provide their own lighting, and bring some extra to share. Some materials will be provided, and participants are encouraged to bring some materials from home also.

Every year, MMOS puts aside space at the Grand Finale for the public to set up their own art installations. We accept any ideas and review proposals well before the Procession. Because space is limited we are only able to pick a handful of submissions, and we weigh quality over quantity.

Get Involved! Please reserve your altar space by October 26th! This will give us enough time to plot out your space, and help us plan the best scenario for you.

Seeking: 2-4 bright technically-minded individuals who would assist in the setup and tear-down of the Ancestors Installation in 2009.

The Procession of Little Angels needs volunteers with sewing skills and machines to help put on this year’s Costuming Workshops for children, to be held throughout the month of October at the Sculpture Resource Center.

The 7th Annual All Souls International Film Festival is looking for shorts exploring DEATH through cinema. This regards themes of Ancestry, Global Rituals and Festivals relating to Death, Grief, Loss, and Rebirth. Submissions cannot exceed 15 minutes. Only DVDs accepted.
