PROJECTS

The Procession encompasses several projects that begin months in advance and involve hundreds of people from different communities, both local and national. Whether a participant creates a mask, constructs an altar, or donates an image to the Wall of Ancestors, they are experiencing Festal Culture.

MMOS is always open to new ideas for projects, especially ones that involve the participation of the general public. Any thoughts or suggestions can be e-mailed to: info@allsoulsprocession.org

The URN is the quintessential symbol of the Procession and its true intention. Dragged two miles through the Procession Route, the URN becomes filled with the blessings, dreams, wishes, and hopes for the passing of loved ones. The culmination of the project occurs at the Grand Finale Stage where the Urn is set aflame, marking the end of the Procession for another year.
