ALL SOULS’ PROCESSION 4th ANNUAL PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION COMPETITION
Opening: Friday, October 22nd, 2010 from 7 to 10 p.m. Rebirth: Saturday, November 6th from 7 to 10 p.m.
This photography exhibition pertains to images relating to death, honoring the dead, the All Soul’s Procession and other rituals which revolve around the theme of honoring and remembering those who have passed on.
Submission deadline is by 5 p.m. on October 3rd, 2010. Submission fee is $25 for 1 to 4 images; all payments must be submitted through PayPal before filling out the submission form. Images will only be accepted as attachments to the submission form on this webpage. [See below.]
Size of images: 1920 pixels on the longest dimension or 6.5 inches @ 300 dpi jpegs. Jpegs only. Images chosen for the gallery show must be delivered to Studio 455 ready to hang. Artist may choose to sell their pieces, if so 70% will go to the artist, 20% will go to Many Mouths One Stomach (MMOS) and 10% will go to Studio 455. Awards will be given to first, second, third place and honorable mentions.
Submission Requirements: One to four jpegs attached to submission form. Name each image by your first name, last name and numbers 1 – 4. (such as johndoe1.jpg). Give the title, price, medium and dimensions of each submitted print that will be displayed. Fee must be submitted to All Soul’s Procession Paypal account first, as you will need your PayPal transaction number to complete the form.
The exhibition staff will rename the images for anonymous judging by Terry Etherton of Etherton Gallery, Tucson, Arizona. (Google him.)
MMOS Marketing Opt-In: Submitted photography may be chosen to be used for future All Soul’s Procession promotions and events. The artist is responsible for negotiating usage agreements with MMOS. You may agree or disagree to this and it will have no affect on your acceptance into The Show.
All possible care with be taken with accepted photography in The Show but MMOS and Studio 455 are ultimately not responsible for any damage or harm to the artwork.
